LEARNING STYLES Students differ greatly in the ways they learn best. Students will learn faster and practice more effectively if the teacher knows how to identify their information processing style, their preferred modes of obtaining information (auditory, visual, kinesthetic, tactile), and their needs with respect to authority and structure. For more information on using Learning Styles in piano teaching, please see www.teresadybvig.com/learnsty.htm (will open in a new window).
